This page details how to retrieve hardware information on FreeBSD 13.2 using built-in commands and optional tools from the ports collection. Tested as of March 08, 2025.

RAM and Swap Info

To check memory (RAM) and swap usage:

  • Total RAM: Display total physical memory in bytes:

sysctl hw.physmem
